Australia’s Jason Day endured a rollercoaster round in this morning’s opening day of the AT&T Byron Nelson.
Brutal winds made hitting fairways and greens tough for the afternoon field but Day didn’t seem to care. After spraying his tee shot right on the drivable par-4 11th at TPC Four Seasons Resort, Day found his ball sitting on the cart path.
Instead of taking the free drop he was entitled to, the Queenslander produced this:
