Tiger Woods recently opened his own sports bar in the Florida town he resides in called The Woods Jupiter.
The 14-times Major champion’s inspiration for the restaurant was an upmarket version of a pub where you can watch sport, albeit with higher-end food and beverages.
And your probably can guess what the staff will wear on Sundays.
“For all the golf tournaments that I play in, the service staff will wear my traditional red shirt on Sunday,” Woods said on his website.
The winner of 79 US PGA Tour events believes The Woods Jupiter is a family-friendly restaurant.
“My kids love eating there,” Woods said. “I’ll be at my restaurant a lot. I have been already. It’s my place, and I really enjoy it.
“First, this is a lot more than a sports bar. You can get an outstanding meal in a family-friendly atmosphere, but also kick back and watch games. To me, that’s fun. I wanted to create something that’s different from what we have in the area, and we’ve done that.
“Our neighbors and guests have been wonderful and very complimentary, and I really appreciate that,” Tiger said. “Football season is here, and we’ll soon have the baseball playoffs. I think it’s going to be really cool at the restaurant then. I’m also looking forward to the Masters in April. I’ll be at Augusta, but I think we’ll have lots of excitement that week.
