Min Woo Lee bounced back from a shocker first round with a sensational 65 to salvage a respectable two-round total of one-under-par at the Olympics.

But the highlight of Lee’s round on Friday in Paris was an Olympic fan who shouted Lee’s catchphrase “Let him cook!” in the Frenchiest of French accents on Friday deserves to go down as one of the all-time greats. Sound way the heck up.

If this isn’t the soundbite of the 2024 Olympics when all is said and done, we’ll be very surprised.

We’re glad to see the crowd pulling for Chef Min Woo, as well. The Olympic rookie had rough opening round at Le Golf National on Thursday, finishing tied for dead last with a five-over 76. Thankfully his 65 Friday elevated his performance from “garbage” to gourmet. If he can keep the barbecue hot through the weekend, he might just serve up a medal.
