Like every northern summer at Augusta National Golf Club, changes are afoot. Sometimes it’s mild tweaks. Sometimes it’s moderate adjustments. Never before have we seen carnage like this, however.
In a matter of weeks, a full raucous gallery will flood the confines of Augusta National for the first time since 2019, and from the looks of things, the hallowed ground is more than ready for its return. Behold:
It will be novel to see how Augusta National looks and sounds devoid of the typical eruptions of blooming flora – or the eruptions of roars and gasps from the patrons – and with gold and orange accents rather than pinks, reds and whites.
