Defending champion Eila Galitsky of Thailand [above] and last year’s runner-up Korean teenager Minsol Kim, two of world golf’s foremost female prospects, will spearhead a star-studded line-up at the sixth edition of the Women’s Amateur Asia-Pacific Championship from tomorrow.
Ten Australians have accepted their invitations to compete in the 2023 Asia-Pacific Amateur Championship at Royal Melbourne Golf Club next month, opening the door to earn a place in the Masters Tournament and the 152nd Open Championship next year.
Three members of the Australian contingent – Justice Bosio, Caitlin Peirce and Sarah Hammett – played in the 2022 championship. They will be joined by debutantes Keeley Marx, Abbie Teasdale and Jazy Roberts in a fresh-faced Aussie team.
