If the bus-ride celebration videos are any indication, Europe is about to throw an all-world Ryder Cup victory party

Two years’ worth of pent-up frustration simmered to a boil this week at Marco Simone. So when the European Ryder Cup team, looking to avenge its 19-9 beatdown at Whistling Straits, came out with an all-world performance in Italy, it was no surprise that Luke Donald’s victorious dozen was ready to blow off some steam.

For returning players like Rory McIlroy, Tommy Fleetwood, Shane Lowry and Jon Rahm, a 16½-11½ win created the ideal opportunity to exhale, allowed that the golf world got to enjoy too when looking at all the fun celebration photos taken after the victory.

Yep, the images from the course spoke volumes as to the relief and joy the players were feeling. But that appeared to be nothing compared to the celebration the Europeans were doing on their bus ride from the course back to their hotel. If you thought the performances from the home side on the course on Sunday were impressive, take a look at what the Ryder Cup Europe social handle on X (formerly Twitter) captured and thankfully shared for all the world to see.

Bobby Mac?!? Didn’t know he had enough hair to actually be able to let down his hair in such a manner. And with the hat wave, too?!?

We’re at a loss for words, so we’ll just let the videos tell the story. Suffice it to say, we can only imagine the hijinks that will go on at the official Ryder Cup victory party this evening.
