Be one of the first to own the all-new BMW M5 Sedan
The latest iteration of the BMW M5 Sedan – a model renowned for seamlessly combining supercar-rivalling pace, cruising ability and luxury appointments – will launch in Australia later this year. Now in its seventh generation, the new BMW M5 brings notable firsts to the nameplate and is set to redefine performance and capability in the segment. A headline element is its drivetrain – the first in the M5’s 40-year history to be electrified. A model-specific hybrid system, derived from the BMW M Hybrid World Endurance Championship racecar, delivers thundering power and torque figures of 535kW (727hp) and 1,000Nm.
The 4.4-litre M TwinPower Turbo V8 develops 430kW and 750Nm while also being capable of spinning to 7,200rpm.
The combination of the petrol and electric drive units – in addition to power transfer courtesy of an eight-speed M Steptronic transmission, highly configurable M xDrive all-wheel-drive and electronically controlled Active M Differential – unlocks storming performance.
The new M5 can accelerate from rest to 100km/h in 3.5 seconds, while Australian-delivered models will achieve a top speed of 305km/h due to the offering of M Driver’s Package as standard equipment.
Its interior showcases elements that bring together luxury and high-performance befitting the BMW M5’s stature while also integrating intuitive technology, including the very latest version of BMW’s iDrive operating system. Other cabin highlights include a flat-bottom steering wheel, Merino leather trim, BMW Interaction Bar and ambient lighting.

The time is now to find your Rolex timepiece
A watch of rare distinction, the new Rolex Perpetual 1908 is a visual masterpiece. On its dial, light bounces off the raised pattern, producing a variety of reflections with every movement of the wrist. A timepiece that affirms its unique identity with elegance and finesse in even the smallest details.
This year’s model is decked in 950 platinum and graced with an ice blue dial featuring a guilloché rice-grain motif. This rosette-like design is distinctive for its three-dimensional, repeating geometric pattern that extends across the surface of the dial, starting from the small seconds counter at 6 o’clock. The minute track is surrounded by a filet sauté with a crimped pattern, which is also guilloché.
With the introduction of a dial created via guillochage, or engine turning – a technique that uses a turning tool to sculpt a pattern into a surface – Rolex is pursuing the course it has set for the Perpetual collection as a tribute to the classic art of watchmaking infused with the brand’s knowhow and creativity. This exclusive dial bears the same Arabic numerals 3, 9 and 12, the same faceted hour markers and the same hands as that of the 18ct gold versions. The watch presented is mounted on a brown alligator leather strap fitted with a Dualclasp, a double folding clasp.
The 1908 is equipped with calibre 7140, a movement at the forefront of watchmaking technology that features bridges decorated with Rolex Côtes de Genève and a cut-out oscillating weight. Calibre 7140 enables the 1908 to display the small seconds, as well as the hours and minutes.
Like all Rolex watches, the Perpetual 1908 carries the Superlative Chronometer certification, which ensures excellent performance on the wrist.
