Justin Thomas amazed everyone at TPC Sawgrass on Friday with an electrifying 11-birdie round that was highlighted by a thrilling two at No. 17. But with all due respect to JT, the most incredible performance of the day may have happened a couple hundred yards away from the island green. And it wasn’t delivered by a pro golfer.
Instead, Oz the Mentalist joined Golf Channel’s ‘Live From’ set at the course. And to say he blew everyone’s minds would be an understatement.
We’ve seen the magician do this kinda stuff before, and to golfers like he did in the fall with Ryder Cup captains Luke Donald and Keegan Bradley. But his skills powers never get old.

We don’t want to give to many spoilers—you should watch the entire 10-minute segment here—but the great Oz performed three tricks. The first in which he guessed what course—and hole!—Aaron Oberholser was thinking of and correctly predicted what living golfer Damon Hack pictured coming up to him to shake his hand. And then there was what he did with Johnson Wagner. See for yourself:

The club? The Yardage? The “tight draw”?! Wild, wild stuff. SORCERY is really the only way to describe it.
“I’m speechless, Oz, this was really fun,” Hack says at the end of the segment. “A little freaky, but awesome.”
Agreed, Damon. But with those kind of mental powers, did anyone think to ask Oz for a prediction on who is going to win the tournament this weekend? Asking for a friend . . . a gambling friend . . .
