PGA Tour winner James Hahn has been blasted on social media for complaining about the PGA Tour’s news schedule for the 2022/23 season which is recently unveiled.
It will be the last wraparound season before the tour switches back to a calendar-year-based schedule beginning in 2024.
The 2022/23 season begins at the Fortinet Championship (September 15-18) in Napa, California which will take place the week before the Presidents Cup at Quail Hollow in Charlotte, North Carolina. The CJ Cup, which was held in South Korea from 2017-19 before moving to Las Vegas for 2020 and 2021, moves to Congaree Golf Club in South Carolina. The RSM Classic (Nov. 17-20) will be the last PGA Tour event of 2022.
Two-time PGA Tour winner Hahn was not happy with the amount of global travel the US autumn portion of 2022:
Naturally, he was roasted on Twitter.
