OK, so we knew this was coming. And that a popular Halloween costume this year—at least, among golf sickos—was going to be Scottie Scheffler being arrested at the PGA Championship. We got a taste of it a few weeks ago when one dad proudly shared that he “got to choose the Halloween costumes this year.” And he nailed it.

Although I can’t imagine getting to choose the Halloween costumes for my daughters. And if I had that type of power, I would have made them Bluey and Bingo this year because they also happen to be the perfect ages. Instead they went as a princess and a ladybug—where’s the coordination?! Sigh. What a missed opportunity. But I digress! Back to Scottie . . .

We’ve seen a bunch of people dressing as Scheffler (and Officer Gillis) on social media. It’s a copycat league, after all. But we’ve got to give special recognition to PGA Tour caddie Aaron Flener and his girlfriend, Brooke, for this effort.

Nice touch from Aaron, who caddies for J.T. Poston, with the FREE SCOTTIE shirt. Although, Max Homa noted a slight discrepancy with Officer Gillis’ infamous pants:
That officer ripped his pants much less than that from what I was told
