The second round of the PGA Championship has been delayed after a pedestrian was struck and killed by a shuttle bus outside Valhalla Golf Club on Friday morning.

According to a Louisville Metro Police spokesperson, the accident occurred about 5am local time in the 1500 block of Shelbyville Road. A shuttle bus was traveling eastbound in a lane that is dedicated to buses. The victim died at the scene, according to police.

The PGA of America announced that round two tee-times will be delayed by at least an hour, with another update expected at 7am, Kentucky time.

On Thursday a similar accident happened at the same spot, with a shuttle bus and SUV crash snarling traffic and causing transportation delays to fans.
