Ai One and Ai One Milled: Odyssey borrows some of the variable face thickness ideas generated by artificial intelligence that have fuelled the driver designs of parent company Callaway in recent years to reimagine how its putter faces might work. The result is two new putter lines, one featuring an aluminium-backed urethane face insert and the other a milled titanium insert, and each uses a distinct and asymmetrical thickness pattern to create more consistent off-centre distance control. Ai-One ($500) available in five options: The #1, Double Wide DB blades, and the Rossie S, #7S and #7CH. Ai-One Milled ($750) available in eight versions: One T and Two T in blades; Three T, Six T, Seven T DB, Seven T CH, Eight T and Eleven T in mallets.
Ai One Cruiser: The Odyssey Ai-One Cruiser putter lineup extends the idea of stability beyond the head to the entire club including shaft and grip. Available in overlength 38-inch models, a 42-inch armlock style and a 48-inch “broomstick” version, these designs feature heavier heads and shafts along with longer grips all designed to stabilise the stroke. $600. 38-inch models: Double Wide, #7, Jailbird. 42-inch armlock: #7. 48-inch broomstick: #7.
Ai-One ’24 line extension: Odyssey’s Ai-One line continues to evolve with the introduction of several new shapes that expand the mallet offerings to include a Wing Back, 24, and 2-Ball Jailbird. While the head shapes are new, the technology remains the same. Ai-One Milled ’24 line extension: New mallet offerings can also be found in the Ai-One Milled line.
