Australians Jason Day, Adam Scott and Min Woo Lee have been given star groupings for the 2025 Masters with recent Houston Open winner Lee bestowed the honour of an official Masters featured group on the tournament feed.
Jason Day will tee off alongside three-time Masters winner, superstar Phil Mickelson, and US Ryder Cup captain Keegan Bradley.
World No.23 Lee, who claimed his maiden PGA Tour win two weeks ago, was grouped with two-time major winner Collin Morikawa and LIV golf star Joaquin Niemann. He will be beamed to the world on the Masters.com website, official Masters App stream and the Featured Groups channel. “This offering will provide 18-hole, spotlight coverage of select groupings,” Masters officials said on Tuesday.

The group is a blessing for Lee who regularly plays golf with good friend Morikawa since moving to Las Vegas from Perth a year ago. He will feel comfortable with Morikawa, one of the world’s most in-form players.
Thursday Featured Groups also include Scottie Scheffler, Justin Thomas, and amateur Jose Luis Ballester in the morning as well as afternoon groups of Rory McIlroy, Ludvig Åberg, and Akshay Bhatia and Jon Rahm, Wyndham Clark, Tommy Fleetwood.
Lee and four other Australians in the field have been spread throughout Augusta National’s star-studded draw.
Leading the Aussie charge is Cameron Smith, joint runner up at Augusta in 2020, who tees off in Group 7 at 8:52 AM ET (Thursday 10:52 PM AEST) with J.T. Poston and England’s Aaron Rai. Lee follows in Group 12 at 9:47 AM ET (11:47 PM AEST) alongside Morikawa and Niemann. Former Masters runner up Jason Day plays in Group 13 with Phil Mickelson and Keegan Bradley, starting at 9:58 AM ET (10:58 PM AEST).
Later in the day, Cameron Davis opens his Masters in Group 17, teeing off at 10:48 AM ET (Friday 12:48 AM AEST) with Rafael Campos and Austin Eckroat. The final Aussie, Adam Scott, draws a marquee pairing in Group 28 with Xander Schauffele and Viktor Hovland, teeing off at 1:01 PM ET (Saturday 3:01 AM AEST).
