Australia’s Ripper GC lads wrapped up a mixed week at LIV Golf Korea, with Cameron Smith once again leading the way for the all-Australian team.
Smith carded rounds of 73-66-69 at the Jack Nicklaus Golf Club in Incheon, South Korea, to finish at eight-under-par, securing a T7 alongside big LIV names like Jon Rahm. The former Open Champion Smith surged into contention with his second-round 66 but couldn’t quite mount a final-day charge. Still, it marked another consistent top-10 finish in LIV competition for Smith. He is starting to show solid form on LIV after a T-9 at the difficult Doral course for LIV Miami before the Masters and a T-5 at LIV Golf Mexico City last week. He will no doubt hope to convert that to the majors stage having suffered a career-first missed cut at Augusta National recently.
In Korea, Lucas Herbert also put together a solid showing, finishing at six-under for the week after rounds of 71-67-72. That placed him T13, a result that underscores Herbert’s growing comfort in LIV events and his ability to contend internationally. The Bendigo native was T-2 at last week’s LIV Golf Mexico City.

Smith’s Ripper GC finished the teams component in Korea at T5. After Ripper GC finished second at LIV Golf Mexico, at least Leishman will look back on Korea for this hole-in-one he earned on day one.
