Jamie Donaldson’s nerve-wracking week ended with the former Ryder Cup hero barely keeping his European Tour card. And to celebrate unwind, he took a fully-clothed dip in a pool – while hinting at utilising a different type of liquid. Check it out:

“letsgethammered”? How very Andrew “Beef” Johnston of him.
Donaldson entered the Andalucia Valderrama Masters at 118th on the Race to Dubai List, but he moved into the top-100 (barely) thanks to a fourth-place finish (Sergio Garcia won the event) that took him to No.99 for the season. With just this week’s limited-field WGC-HSBC Champions and three Rolex Series events left on this season’s European Tour schedule, Donaldson wrapped up fully exempt status on tour for next season.
Congrats to Jamie, but we just wish there was a follow-up video – like the, um, dishevelled interview he did the day after hitting the winning wedge shot at the 2014 Ryder Cup. Or maybe one is still coming. With this week off, Donaldson has plenty of time to celebrate.
