How much does Hideki Matsuyama love Chick-Fil-A? So much that when the beloved chicken chain came up during his victory press conference at TPC Southwind on Sunday, he spontaneously started speaking perfect English. Unfortunately, for the 2024 FedEx St. Jude champ, Chick-Fil-As are infamously closed on Sundays, which is the day PGA Tour tournaments usually end (unless your name is Matt Kuchar). The dude already has the Denver Chick-Fil-As mapped out a day in advance. That’s true dedication. Hideki will be headed to the Mile High City on Monday for the BMW Championship, sitting third in the FedEx Cup standings following Sunday’s big win. He still has a lot of ground to make up on Xander Schauffele and leader Scottie Scheffler, but with the power of that legendary Chick-Fil-A sauce coursing through his veins, anything is possible.
