LIV Golf has reached the end of its third year, with this week’s event outside Chicago serving as the last individual event of the season.
Jon Rahm and Joaquin Niemann, Nos. 1 and 2 respectively, on the individual standings are the only two players who have a chance to take home the title. Rahm has only one victory but has never finished outside the top 10 all season. Niemann won two of the first three events of the year to take a quick lead but now is only a couple points behind Rahm.

They’ll do battle at Bolingbrook Golf Club and are playing for the usual $20 million overall purse with the event’s champion tanking home $4 million for a victory. Either Rahm or Niemann will earn an extra $18 million for being the league’s overall champion.
Tyrrell Hatton, Sergio Garcia and Louis Oosthuizen round out to top five in the standings.
Next week LIV Golf will officially finish the season with a team championship in Dallas at Maridoe Golf Club.
