Volvik Inc. Korea has announced the company has signed Australasian PGA Tour player and 2017 Victorian PGA champion Damien Jordan to a multi-year contract. Jordan will play the new Volvik S3 ball on tour, as well as carry the Volvik logo on his hat, bag, glove and shirt.
“We are pleased to partner with Damien for at least the next three years” said chairman Moon of Volvik Korea. “Damien is exactly the type of player we want playing Volvik. He is talented with a high level of motivation to get better and succeed on the world stage. He is a proven tour winner who wants to improve, and he sees the move to the new Volvik S3 ball as an improvement also. We are proud to have him as part of Team Volvik.”

“I’m extremely happy to be joining the team at Volvik,” Jordan said. “My interest was spiked last year when I hit them on the range at the Australian Open as they are the official ball. I loved the way they felt and performed. A few months later, I was testing the new S3 and S4 balls and was blown away by how much further they went for me, but still gave me unbelievable control with my scoring clubs and around the greens, which is my thing.
“After much testing I’ve put the new 2019 version of the S3 into play and I’m excited to see what I can achieve with the ball. It’s unbelievable.”
The new Volvik S3 is a three-piece urethane-covered ball and is available now from all good retailers for $69.95 per dozen.
