Golf Australia has provided the following update on Greater Brisbane’s three-day lockdown, and what it means for those clubs that fall in the Local Government Areas affected by the restrictions:
On Monday the 29th of March, 2021, the Queensland Government announced that Greater Brisbane will enter a 3-day lockdown from 5pm Monday the 29th of March until 5pm Thursday the 1st of April.
Greater Brisbane includes the Local Government Areas of Brisbane, Logan, Ipswich, Moreton & Redlands.
The lockdown will be reviewed on the evening of Wednesday the 31st of March 2021.

Operations Advice – Greater Brisbane
As per the direction from Queensland Government social sport is permitted, such as golf and tennis, limited to two people outdoors, with physical distancing observed.
- Players MUST play with no more than one other person unless all from the same household.
- All members, guests and staff MUST wear face masks when indoors. It is strongly recommended you wear a mask when outdoors if you are unable to stay more than 1.5m distance from other people.
- Residents MUST not travel outside the Greater Brisbane area to play golf.
- No dine in customers are permitted, however takeaway service is permitted.

Golf clubs outside the Greater Brisbane area should refrain from booking tee times for anyone who was in Greater Brisbane on or since 20 March.
