Accessorising as a man is tricky. Bracelets, necklaces and rings are a slippery slope. You can go from boring to Guy Fieri in the blink of an eye. Watches are too much of a status symbol. A Timex says “broke”, a Rolex says “rich prick”. Trucker hats, fedoras and visors can all be problematic in their own ways, and then there’s the whole, “It’s not a man purse, IT’S A SATCHEL!” debate. There is one men’s fashion accoutrement we all agree on, however:

The US Open trophy.

You might not believe your eyes, but this is exactly what it looks like. On Wednesday, Bryson DeChambeau continued his US Open World Tour in downtown Nashville. Clad in a clean black t-shirt, a pair of jeans and one notable piece of bling, DeChambeau was seen jumping the queue at a club with the US Open trophy as his VIP pass. If that isn’t one of greatest golf flexes of all time, we don’t know what is.

In addition to DeChambeau’s Music City masterclass, he was also seen chugging beers out of the trophy with San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle.

Looks like another glorious day on Planet Bryson to us, but as long we’re on the subject of questionable men’s accessories, George, buddy, those sunglasses have to go.
