Golf fans are used to Jordan Spieth taking them on wild thrill rides, but another Jordan has delivered arguably the wildest scorecard of 2024.

Introducing Jordan Doull, a 25-year-old Aussie who played his college golf at Columbus State University. Doull turned pro earlier this year and earned his PGA Tour of Australasia tour card for the 2024-25 season through Q School. So the dude can play, and there was plenty more evidence of that during Thursday’s first round of the Victorian PGA Championship.

Doull started off red hot with a front-nine 29 at Moonah Links. Things got even better after he made the turn and added birdies at Nos.10 and 11. He was NINE-under and absolutely cooking. But then? Well, unfortunately for Jordan, the wheels fell off in spectacular fashion as noted by Ryan French, AKA Monday Q Info on Twitter:

Incredible. Three bogeys, a double and a quad over the final seven holes, taking Doull all the way back to even par. Here’s another look at one of the craziest scorecards you’ll ever see.

Seriously, how is that possible? Oh, right. Golf.

At even par, Jordan is in T-62 after Round 1. Hey, you can’t call him Jordan DULL, at least. (Sorry, couldn’t resist.) Anyway, we look forward to seeing what this exciting young lad does next.
