THE Australian contingent is lighting up the US PGA Championship with Jason Day and Matt Jones tied for the lead as an incoming storm stopped play late in the second round at Whistling Straits.
Day and Jones are currently 9- under par, one ahead of England’s Justin Rose. The Aussie pair are 5-under on their rounds.
Day played 14 holes and has a 15-foot birdie putt to come on the 15th. Sydneysider Jones has played 12 holes and is in a fairway bunker on the right of the fourth fairway.
