We’ve reached the penultimate event on the LPGA at the Annika driven by Gainbridge at Pelican Golf Club in Belleair, Fla. The week started with Caitlin Clark playing in the Wednesday pro-am alongside both Nelly Korda and Annika Sorenstam.
But now that we’re into the final round, Korda is in contention after returning for the first time in seven weeks after recovering from a neck injury. Charley Hull is in contention, after winning in Saudi Arabia a few weeks ago. Weiwei Zhang, Jin Hee Im and Wichanee Meechai are also all within striking distance of Hull, who is leading at 12 under par.
They’re all playing for a $3.25 million purse with the winner taking home $487,500 for the victory.
Next week is the tour’s final event, the CME Globe Championship, in Naples.
