Bryson DeChambeau is fast becoming golf’s next megastar.
He’s got bucketloads of talent, but it’s his story that already has the golf world talking after featuring prominently during the Aussie summer of golf. After finishing low amateur at The Masters last week, DeChambeau made his professional debut at the RBC Heritage, shooting a 1-under 71 in the first round at the famous Harbour Town Golf Links.
The reigning US Amateur champion has jokingly been dubbed golf’s ‘mad scientist’ for his love of physics and the fact all his irons are exactly the same length.
Watch his fascinating story below in a Golfing World player profile.
He’s good at impressions, too – from Bill Murray to a left-handed golfer.
Only thing better than @b_dechambeau's 1st impression at @TheMasters? His impression of Bill Murray in Caddyshack.https://t.co/AWgGbyLlBR
